1. Information We Collect

When you use Yardcast, we collect:

Photos you upload: Images of your yard, home exterior, planting beds, walkways, or patios for design generation
Camera and photo library access: In the mobile app, only when you choose to capture or select a photo
Questionnaire responses: Your style preferences, region, project goal, editable area, budget range, maintenance preference, and site constraints
Name and email address: For preview delivery, support, design-credit records, and follow-up when you consent or request service from us
Payment and purchase status: Web payments are processed by Stripe; iOS in-app purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not store card details.
Usage data: How you interact with our service (anonymized analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

Generate personalized landscape designs using AI
Process payments, record design-credit status, and deliver your design pack
Send preview links, order confirmations, product updates, and support follow-up when permitted
Improve our prompts, quality checks, and service reliability
Respond to customer support requests
Prevent abuse, fraud, payment misuse, and service disruption

3. Photo Privacy

Your uploaded photos are used to generate your landscape designs, save your project when requested, support the service, and diagnose quality issues. We do not:

Share your photos publicly without consent
Sell your photos to third parties
Use your photos for advertising without permission

We retain uploaded photos and generated previews only as long as reasonably needed to provide the preview or design pack, maintain support and purchase records, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability. You can request deletion at privacy@yardcast.ai.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

Stripe: For web payment processing
Apple and RevenueCat: For iOS in-app purchases, purchase status, and design-credit records
Supabase: For project, lead, image, and purchase-record storage
AI generation providers: For image analysis, generation, editing, and quality review, including providers such as Black Forest Labs, OpenAI, Google, or Replicate when configured
Vercel: For hosting and analytics

We never sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers. We do not authorize service providers to use your photos for Yardcast advertising without your separate consent.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request deletion of your data
Opt out of marketing communications
Request a copy of your data in a portable format
Ask us to remove a project from support or preview storage where legally and technically possible

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to remember your preferences and keep you signed in. We use analytics cookies (which you can opt out of) to understand how people use Yardcast.

7. Children's Privacy

Yardcast is not directed to children under 13. Do not use Yardcast to upload photos primarily featuring children or other people when the photo is not needed for the exterior design request.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure payment processing through Stripe, Apple, and RevenueCat, restricted service keys for project storage, and access controls around project records. We do not store your full card number. However, no system is 100% secure — use Yardcast at your own discretion.
