Magnolia grandiflora

The Southern Magnolia is the crown jewel of Southern landscapes — massive, glossy evergreen leaves with cinnamon-brown undersides and enormous, fragrant white flowers up to a foot across. Care Guide

Plant in full sun with moist, well-drained soil. Give it room — they get huge. Water regularly until established. Very low maintenance once mature. Drop leaves year-round (evergreen doesn't mean they don't shed). Minimal pruning needed. 'Little Gem' is ideal for smaller spaces.
