Red Yucca

Hesperaloe parviflora

Red Yucca (not actually a yucca) is the unsung hero of xeriscape design — long arching leaves with coral flower spikes that bloom for months and attract hummingbirds like magnets. It's cold hardy to zone 5, virtually indestructible, and looks great year-round. One of the best plants for hot, dry landscapes.
