Mondo Grass
Ophiopogon japonicus
Mondo Grass is the refined, tidy alternative to liriope — narrower leaves, lower growth, and a cleaner look between stepping stones, along borders, and as a manicured edging plant. Dwarf mondo (2-3 inches tall) creates a miniature lawn effect without mowing. Standard mondo fills shade areas with dense, dark green texture year-round.
