Bird of Paradise produces some of the most striking flowers in the plant kingdom — bold orange and blue blooms that resemble exotic tropical birds. The large, banana-like leaves create a lush tropical look even when not in bloom. It's surprisingly drought-tolerant once established and virtually pest-free.

Care Guide

Plant in full sun for best blooming (tolerates partial shade but flowers less). Well-drained soil is essential. Water regularly the first year, then reduce. Fertilize monthly during growing season.
